Boys Basketball

Weaver Athletic participates in the Chesterfield Basketball League (CBL). CBL is a competitive recreational league.

Boys start with the Rookie league, as young as age 6. It is recommended that first year players, age 8 or 9, play in the Tigers Division for one year. But 7-year-old players are not eligible for the Tigers Division.

The Rookies division is for ages 6-7, and first year 8 year olds who need to be on the instructional level. Tigers are for ages 7-8 only (6 year olds are not eligible). Cubs is for 8-9 year olds where returning 8 year olds can play up a division.

Playoffs for Juniors and Seniors is February 24 through March 2
Playoffs for Nets and Intermediates is February 24 through March 2
Playoffs for Bears and Minors is March 2 through March 9
Playoffs for Tigers and Cubs is March 9 through March 16
Last day of practice is March 15
End of Season is March 16
